Irish solidarity organizations and the Cuban embassy carry out voluntary work to send donations to Cuba.
Dublin, January 6, 2024: On this cold morning in Dublin, Irish solidarity and Cubans, include of the Cuban embassy in Ireland participated in the preparation of a container with donations destined to Cuba. During the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, announced the letter from the Cuban Ministry of Health to comrade Mary Barry, Coordinator of the Forum of Solidarity with Cuba of Ireland, in which expresses the huge appreciation by the support with medical supplements destined for the “Hospital Hermanos Amejeiras” and other centres of the Cuban Health of System, who suffer the consequences of the intensified American blockade.
The cold, with temperatures close to zero degrees, did not prevent the atmosphere among the participants from being characterized by human warmth and solidarity.
